Hey there, HISD teacher here whose school hasn’t implemented the new system (yet, that I know of). Fun thing about Texas, if we pretty much even mention striking we lose our job, teaching certificate, and forfeit our non-Social Security state pension. We have unions, but they don’t carry much weight, unfortunately.
