The best part of this whole thing would be if some shitty writer out there wrote a derivative, crappy fanfic of the Shades series, and somehow got it published, and it became totally popular and famous, and there was a movie made of it, and then another shitty writer wrote a derivative, crappy fanfic of that book, and

passed away at 13. Rena, our adopted canine companion. Can’t deny golden’ are golden.

You’re acting like Entourage is somehow above either of those two shows. But also you’re leaving off The Wire, Deadwood, and The Sopranos, which is enough to keep anyone busy.

What does watching this video “without my consent” mean?

It just managed to make me first fear my parents so much that I would do ANYTHING to avoid getting hit, then later distrust that they’d actually help me if I got into any sort of trouble.

Right there with you, bud. I am in tears for this poor child. As someone who was raised by abusive parents, I don’t need to watch the video to know that there was more abuse going on at home than a video about a last straw moment. What a fail parent.

I honestly feel like such extreme shaming videos should be treated the same as animal abuse videos - reported and taken down.

I love how people can excuse her death if she was “bad”. Fuck them.

Is this why she killed herself? Maybe, we don’t know.

I doubt she killed herself because of the video - but the video would seem to hint at some larger, deeper issues with her family/life. Parents often think they’re teaching their kids “lessons” by being tough, when really all they’re teaching their children is that their parents are a bunch of fucking assholes who

My kids don’t need to die for me to talk about another parents’s abusive actions.

Honestly? With parents as controlling as this sometimes is just not having a chirpy enough attitude, or getting chores done as directed, etc.

tbh, I think this kind of thing is even worse than hitting your kids. When someone hits when they are angry, that is TERRIBLE but it shows poor impulse control. When you set up these humiliating situations and share them with the public, it takes some time and thought to execute, and that just shows a sadistic mind.

I’m not putting all of the blame solely on the video but one would assume it perpetuated the situation. Even if she hadn’t committed suicide, I would still find her fathers actions atrocious and uncalled for.

Yeah, forget the girl getting bullied, in public, by her own father, who ended up taking her own life; CLEARLY the abusive dick who humiliated her on Youtube is the real victim here.

You’re so right, the abusive parents are the real victims. The dead girl, whatever.

Just tell them they’re not that attractive and you don’t know who let them talk. Maybe if they were hotter you would listen to their opinions.

Catch a dick. Catch a bunch at once!

I just like her. It is so refreshing to hear someone say “I weigh 160 pounds.” It’s something that should NOT matter at all. But, as someone who is also around that, it’s nice to hear and see that it’s normal.
