My understanding of Miss Collette's backstory was that the client she murdered led to her cleaning service being investigated. The murder quite possibly went unsolved, but in questioning the maids the human trafficking would have been uncovered.

I’ll admit that I'm projecting my own issues here, but I find it impossible to believe that this was the first and only abusive incident in this household. This poor girl had nowhere to hide.

I love my KEENs and I don’t care who knows it.

I remember that article, and I remember hearing about that subreddit but never checked it out. Reddit takes time, man. Thanks for the reminder!

Man Stroke Woman is on Hulu Plus.

I broke up with Ipsy last month and the cancellation process was a little ridiculous. I went through 4-5 different confirmation screens each with a huge flashing "Never Mind" button and a teensy little "cancel my subscription" link.

I generally look to see who is catching Ru's attention, and Pearl was clearly doing something right because Ru was pretty focused on her. Her choreography was less involved, but she was giving great face.

The storyline itself is about passing but the underlying joke was "there's no way Jane Krakowski can pass as a Native American". I understand that it's trying to be satirical, but for me it was a swing and a miss.

I like her retro aesthetic, I just wish it was attached to some better music. I'm not a huge fan of "All about that Bass" but at least it was somewhat clever. Everything else I've heard of hers sounds like it was written by an 11-year old.

Ugh. Kennedy. From all the pre-show clips and opinions from other queens, she was "the one to watch" and so far she's delivered nothing.

I'm not 100% buying the glue allergy thing - I mean, I'm not dismissing it outright, and I know the show is edited up to its eyeballs, but I seriously doubt that Ru would have come for Jasmine so hard on the beard issue if Jasmine had mentioned an allergy to (or anywhere near) one of the producers.

The winning team discussed Violet in this week's Untucked - Max specifically said that she picked Miss Fame over Violet because she knew Fame would come to it with a positive attitude, and Violet would just bitch and complain. Most of the queens lauded Violet's looks and talent, but her attitude is clearly toxic.

Yes, it's always the purplish gray. That and teal.

No judgment on the lipstick - I have way too many nail polishes that are completely indistinguishable variations of the same 4 shades.

Here's another vote for the Eucerin Intensive Repair.

Twitter never loads properly for me so I went to check, because a "gray and white stripped pattern and pink triangle combination" made me imagine pattern of neon triangles on a striped field, which didn't sound immediately and inherently offensive.

In your case the case the punishment was directly related to the crime, which IMO makes it a pretty good punishment.

I really liked your post about fixing a broken nail - but the day after reading it I slipped while using a dremel tool and drilled a little half-moon into the end of my nail. I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I had to file the whole thing down. Any advice for us klutzes on how to patch an actual hole/chip in
