I have a ‘19 Bolt (bought new) and had a ‘13 Fit Sport (also bought new).

Styling is very similar. Both are pretty utilitarian in shape and styling, but the Fit has amazing interior packaging and room for adults and cargo in a way the Bolt physically cannot, due to battery placement.

But the Bolt has performance,

Another thing to point out about those test graphs, especially with the high speed test.  That first acceleration run goes from 0-45 mph in about 20 seconds.  Do you know how slow that actually is?!?  Go give it a try.  I doubt anyone is driving around that slowly that isn’t a danger to others on the road.

It’s almost poetry that Chevy is cancelling this vehicle now that they have the market cornered. It’d be like Ford cancelling the Maverick.

Two days in a row you’ve managed to hit on a car that I have more of an irrational emotional attachment to. While the AMC was memorable because it was the first family car I remember, the V70R is the first car that I *really* wanted. Yeah…I might have been weird. I swooned over the hotter 850 versions when I was in

The former German car tech in me (that also serviced Volvos) tel me to run away.

ND… one of these with nearly 200,000 miles, the slushbox and the “aftermarket tune” ( which reduces the value) has to be a lot cheaper to be a NP to me… this is more of a $2500 car to me

The aftermarket tune on a ‘98 is a joke.  Keep it full of oil and it will run longer than the rest of the vehicles you own for the next 10 years.

You could daily this, but realistically it is now a car for a Volvo hobbyist to tinker with and have some fun as their second or third car.  On that thought, huge bonus points for this color.  I’d rather pay $5k, but NP.

I Voted NP although this is a $5K car. The enhanced engine output isn’t a plus at 195K miles - you’re just squeezing the life out of it at a faster rate.

Put the two together.

I saw an article raising concerns about electrification, but maybe it’s SUVfication that will be the issue much earlier

I think its a very attractive design. The egg is the new box.

Wild that they seem to be re-engineering their product offering to suit American tastes – even to the point of using cutesy names – and then not selling in America.

Emotional Support Chevy C10 for eye bleach purposes.

I mean, I absolutely will pay 11 dollars on an 8 dollar item if it happens to be more convenient and I need it immediately. That reasoning does not in any way apply to paying 34k for a 28k vehicle. People who can shrug off a hit like that must be floating through their own little worlds that have no relation to mine

“We have height restrictions in car parks, why not weight,” he said.

Sure, but does a RAV4 have a dent on one corner of the back bumper?!

It’s bizarre to me that anyone gives a shit what a car is named.

Holy crap! I can't believe anyone would willingly do this to themselves.
