chevy bolt.

run it till it breaks, then permanently park it on the driveway, plug it in, and use the bi-directional charging to power your house during peak hours (or at night if you have solar)...

the reason hes doing it is to get fleet mpg average in compliance for 2026+

if i were shopping for cars, i certainly wouldnt be able to pass up a deal like that. drive that thing home that day, and keep passively shopping for the next deal i want...

yeah credit where credit is due the exterior carries the design language from front to back... some kits do something for the front and phone it in for the back.

Im a huge proponent of EV’s, but im of this opinion as well... though there are some climates where ya gotta store your car inside....

Their 180kw DC fast chargers have been great too. the one by my house is the same cost per kWh as what I pay at home... I only have L1 at home, and last week my car was pretty low (my truck has been in the driveway with polycarbonate in the window because some asshole broke my window last month and i just havent

some do. some have EV chargers now too. the one by my house has the lowest DCFC rates too... same cost as my electricity at home, which is super rare for a DC charger.

i wouldnt touch a hyundai/kia gas car, but we had a fully loaded 2020 ioniq ev.... and that thing was fucking wonderful. drove and handled great. only issue we had was a 12v battery, which they handled immediately... leased it new in 2021 for next to nothing (it was cheaper than what we spent on gas). our local

not necessarily.

yeah San Jose resident here....

not OP, but this is good info.. thank you for this. I may have to check this out. I was run over and dragged under a truck, and hit by another... my back is all sorts of fucked... how long have you been using it? any major differences from a really good (volvo) standard seat?

its kinda crazy seeing how much cars have changed even in the last few years. we had a 1st gen ioniq which had a surprising amount of space in the back for it’s small size, and im currently in a chevy bolt which has allocated a surprising amount of space to the back seat as welll... car seat goes back there no

paid $13k after rebates for a 2020 bolt with 20k miles, a new battery and new tires. im in the SF bay area, and I cant find a better price anywhere.

700k inst cheap? *hella cries in californian*

just dinner?

we had a similar experience. the dealer didnt want to budge... but costco offered msrp and $1000 off on a recharge... we went with something else, but costco is always worth a glance when you start your car shopping.

id laugh and tell them “if that’s the case, you’ll never get the sale, good luck....” and move on..... but i might text them back with a price from another dealer to see if they can beat it...

I bought 2 cars from 2 different dealers in january...

also when looking for cars.... dont just walk into a dealer... they will waste your entire day...
