I have 4 volvo catalytic converters I have no idea what to do with. One off my race car, and 3 off donor cars I bought for the race car.

looks nice. if i had to drive one of these, i wouldnt mind it at all..... but that’s about the extent of it...
GMT400.
Nah. I’d bet the auto industry would become complacent, and just build cheap gas cars, and not ramp up on cheap EV… they’d then have their lobbyists pressure regulators to push the full EV roll out date, saying “we don’t have manufacturing capabilities to just switch.” And we’d be back to square one.
we have a 2020 ioniq ev, and I rotated my tires a couple days before taking it into the dealership for the coolant recall... got a call that the car was ready, and the service writer was like “and we did a free tire rotation for you too!...” this was a month ago, havent driven it much, but i need to re-rotate the damn…
Nope. Because not everybody will need to charge while shopping… but I wouldn’t be surprised if stores eventually all had 10~20.
south bay area checking in... the amount of money people blow on cars here (and houses for that matter) is next to insane.... but then again, theres a boatload of engineers around here pulling north of $250k/yr... so there’s that....

Part of the fun is having the only one.
If I were to add to the above, one thing I forgot to mention is that 6/7/8/9/10sp road and 6/7/8/9sp mtb deraileurs from shimano share the same pull ratio. So in a pinch you can swap deraileur a or shifters pretty easy. Like my tt bike is actually running an 8sp shifter with a 10sp rear derailleur, but 9sp pulley…
if you want an end of the world bike, I would actually recommend going with 8-speed.
Yeah, I built this thing a while ago to carry a keg to the top of a trail on turkey day. theres a handful of photos and videos of it floating around out there... it is very much a one-of-a-kind bike.... I haven’t seen anybody else dumb enough to build anything like it. which was magically kinda convenient, because it…
Maybe a forward facing light that can signal people driving stupid slow to pull over and let the convoy behind them pass.
Desert temp swings from day to night can easily be 30~40F difference, to where it can be pleasant or even slightly chilly at night.
