Jesus Christ.
Can it back feed power to the house while not on the road?
Or another piece of useful equipment that can help reduce vehicles on the road in order to make room for people that actually need their vehicles.
lol. my wife would kill to have a garage separate from mine (should i be worried?)... i wouldnt mind having my workshop in a separate garage or better yet a completely separate structure. might need to quit my semi annual avocado toast for that dream to become a reality tho.
yo.... dont insult hyundai like that.
We have a Hyundai EV. We leased it (at $700 down and $150/month, it was cheaper than gas alone for our last car), and the subscription just came with the lease… and I can tell you right now, the app is dogshit. It’s sooooooooooo slow. If I need something really quick forget to unlock the car, it’s quicker for me to…
Tbh. I’d be willing to bet that the deadline/ask gets adjusted in 7 years, but at least this lights a fire under all the manufacturers’ asses. Same for infrastructure.
This is exactly what came to mind for me to when I saw qotd. It had all the 90’s shapes, along with some proper 90’s miscalculations like rollover and the Firestone recall.
you know whats also ridiculous about bart is that it doesnt run a standard gauge rail.... It would have been nice to have one continuous system that ran all the way around the bay, as opposed to the piece meal bart/lightrail/caltrain/amtrak shit we have going on now....
yeah that sums it up well. im in the bay area, and most highways around here also have enough traffic that even at highway speeds, theres enough of a draft going to where it really doesnt take much throttle.... i leave tons of space ahead of me i can still feel the draft from the group of cars pull me along.

I am so torn on this.... I hate subscriptions, and having to pay for shit bolted on that ill potentially never use, but I will note that self-driving is the one area that I feel a subscription is somewhat acceptable, because that’s an area thats going to be getting constant updates...
and all those stupid birds and squirrels building their tiny homes out of sticks, crowding the local trees? no thanks
“we have thoroughly investigated ourselves, and fortunately for us, we have found there to be no foul play and no mistakes made. we have since taken the appropriate steps in order to absolve ourselves of any wrongdoing. furthermore, we appreciate the support from the local community in the understanding that there are…
“it’s not always about how fast you get there.... sometimes it’s about how good you look getting there...”
as long as you get billet or forged spacers youll be ok... not cast... also get hub centric spacers... ones that sit of the hub lip, and also have a lip for the wheel... always use a torque wrench and never impact.
I agree with this here about musk and pricing....
when you have a broken down Jag in your driveway, you can say “well.... at one point I had money....”
yeah, tesla runs on hype... I used to work in procurement (different industry), and every time I hear how much tesla promises, I’m like “lol, I’ve worked with factories there’s actually no way that production ramp is even remotely realistic...” but people eat that shit up....
