Idk… the throwout bearing in my 2012 hatch was trying to call it quits in 20k miles. My sister totaled the car before the bearing quit tho.

NGL, I judge a business by their bathroom. If they cant keep a clean bathroom I often leave.
I was on track, coming around turn 4 in my Volvo S70 way hotter than I should have. and the rear end kicked out. I counter steered, buried the gas, and let go of the steering wheel (not a full jesus take the wheel, but released grip). the car swerved back and forth a couple times, straightened back out, and I was on…
Maintenance. i have all the tools at home. just need to find the time to do it.
Man…. It used to. Back when cheap econoboxes were a plenty. We got an ev for my wife at $700 down and $150/month. It was cheaper than gasoline alone. Not to mention upcoming repairs
I think the big one that stands out there would be “an appliance that can do it cheaper in the long run.” for example if I were to have a refrigerator in my house from the 80's... it would make sense for me to go get a new fridge, because newer refrigerators are far more efficient, to where the cost difference in…
Old cars.

??? I dont think this is anything to do with GOP or DEM... I absolutely understand that taxes are necessary if we want a functioning society. the problem with toll road is that 50% of the toll goes toward administrative and depreciation - which is completely unnecessary for a roadway. so only half your toll goes…
exactly. thank you!
the difference there is that the multiplex is a non-essential component.
how do you feel about 30% of that money disappearing to administrative expenses that simply dont have to exist if it were a public road...
the problem i have with it is that large portions of tolls paid go toward just administrative expenses. in according to cga.ct.gov, in 2020 30% of their tolls received went to administrative costs. (ie 30% of your money paid doesnt go toward relieving tax burden at all)
Reverse: fuck toll roads.
yeah, ive been hit by different types of vehicles... and the results are vastly different based on hood height...
there was a time when volvo offered a handful of small 2-doors like the PV/Amazon/P1800.... they were all beautiful cars, but if I had to choose,
