yeah, thats exciting. when I replace my truck itll definitely be EV or PHEV depending on ev improvements when the time comes. the only reason I keep my 92 K1500 tho is because it still only has 104k miles on it, it’s in near perfect condition, and costs me next to nothing to own... (i dont drive it enough to worry

2020 Ioniq EV.

that rear end i feel takes a lot of cues from the gen 1 Ioniq.

we went full EV too, hands down the best financial decision we’ve ever made on a car.

same. I hate it. I hate that I actually like it... lets just hope the real version lets us down so we can continue to give the prius the irrational hate that it doesnt deserve.

tesla has roughly 100,000 employees around the globe. that bonus is basically $560,000 per employee.... all to himself. fucking insane.

Tesla employs roughly 100,000 people

Oh yeah. I should have been more clear about that part. You’re likely right that this a-hole side is who he actually is, but I’d suppose he sees acting like this is a win win for him. He can be who he is and he can break in to that new market at the same time.

this may be an unpopular opinion, but 84-month or even 36 month lease plus 72 months loan isnt a bad thing if that allows you to keep your payments under $300/month. if we go off average mileages, that would put you at around 9 years and 100k miles for a car that originally retailed for around $25k. which would

yeah, one day living in a house in front of a stop sign wont be as annoying as it used to be.

there are a ton of us. more and more every day.

I have a 92 K1500 with 104k miles, but I would like to replace it with a Volvo truck (I dont want a semi tho) and complete my volvo ecosystem, S70, 444, future Volvo EV, and this for towing/outdoor shit...

I mean the similarities between the Pilot and the Explorer are striking too. if this thing showed up with ford badges, youd just about have me fooled as well.

that front end gives me some mild ford fusion vibes.... it goes with their look tho, the pilot imo looks just like an explorer.

that’s weird... Id have guessed that a shorter front end would do a better job of keeping the pedestrian out from under the car... when I got broadsided in 2019 by an SUV, I didnt go up on the hood, I was almost immediately sucked right under the car and dragged.

I think it’s worth noting battery size here, because the fast charge on the EV6 is only calculating charge time for 46kwh of their 77kwh battery size, vs the EX90 is charging 77kwh of their 110kwh pack in the same 30 minutes...

I’ll be completely honest in saying that us Volvo weirdos buy Volvos because they say Volvo on it...

I hope im not the only one who sees a Ford Explorer.

Ive always told people “what he’s accomplished is quite incredible. no doubt about it... but he’s a loose cannon, he does not deliver on his word, and I dont trust him.” he’s not stupid, but he isnt a good person either. thankfully, this last month has made that more than abundantly clear for the rest of the world to

I’ve used it to haul gas to the hot pits, candy to give away in the paddock, 15 gallon keg for the turkey day morning bike ride, grocery runs, home depot runs, bike commutes, events, and hauling bikes (boxed and built) home from work (i put a flat bed on it a little while ago).
