Oh chill the fuck out. It wasn’t a dig on his artistic ability at all. Is it not conceivable to you that “started with a photo of a random object” and “phenomenal artist” don’t have to be mutually exclusive?

The fact that he obviously snaps a picture and starts his drawing over the top of it really adds something to the art. All the perspective is just right, almost like he’s modeled the ship and drawn/painted over the top of it.
Ah yes, the inevitable Kotaku comment projecting their own insecurities onto a stranger because that person dared to say that they think they are attractive. Same as on every other Dr. Nerdlove post.
I read somewhere that the guy was reaching for his waist instead of having his hands on the air?
I don’t understand the point of view that states, “He didn’t immediately cooperate and do everything the police asked of, therefore the cop is free of guilt, or less culpable.” It’s a good thing we don’t interface with the Police every day, it’s the way we ought to be able to live. I can forgive someone for not being…
The situation wouldn’t have existed if the police were trained to fire only after being fired upon, rather than to fire if they feel “scared.” There is no reason that we should be making any excuses for the officer that killed an unarmed man. Not even “Well, it was a false call.” The police should be held to a higher…
S.W.A.T. - Strategic Weapons And Tactics.
The police response is definitely part of the problem, but let us please not lose sight of the fact that the situation wouldn’t have existed without an individual unable to separate losing in a game from their personal sense of self-worth, and the enabler who took their indignation and turned it into a call to…
As a prolonged short, it’s a waste of the animation. There’s no growth, nothing is learned, it’s all just gratuitous in the end. That’s fine for a short bit, but even a five minute comedy sketch generally has superficial development for the characters if no plot. This was ultimately just empty and mean.
No, I got the joke. It just ran dry after about the two minute arc.
yeah, it wasn’t particularly funny, just a depressing story of characters being jerks. good art, but waste of a story. i get that its parodying how characters act in dungeon crawl games, but meh.
Aw that...that poor little goblin slave :(
If you’re trying to improve your speaking habits, this is bad advice.
That doesn’t really look like a steroid-assisted build on that dude. Have there been stories about this guy using steroids? If not, I’d save that accusation; dude looks like he might lift three times a week or so, and isn’t overweight. He’s far from jacked, and long-term steroid abuse has some pretty serious tells…
Artists do it for themselves and the profit is a bonus. The term starving artist exists for a reason.
The opposite for me. The bugginess in PUBG is a turn off for me, plus, the cartoon-like world of Fortnite just makes it more fun. So many ‘real’ games out there, I like the chance Epic took artistically.
I 100% agree with this. I was so hyped for PUBG to come to Xbox One, but I find myself still playing Fortnite instead. It’s just so much fun and a much smoother experience.
I’m enjoying the resurgence of colorful cartoony graphics after suffering for decades with gritty “realism” and grey and brown color pallets.
Might be superficial of me (probably is) but i think PUBG (like all Counter-Strikes to date) is one of the blandest looking games i’ve ever seen.
Fortnite has pretty solid art direction and the engine is really really cool.
