It’s definitely not stupid anymore. Not when it’s managed to become almost a household name, like Kleenex. We’re so used to it now, it’s not even funny.
I’d ask you how you know, but it was probably hard enough typing that post above with less than 10 fingers.

All real issues, though as pointed out in the article, these phase-outs of ICEs are not all that fast (yet not nearly fast enough if you ask a climate change expert), and would likely only apply to new cars. In the mean time, solar panels and batteries at homes, improving electric car efficiency and storage capacity,…
It took me until my 30s to realize that chilling out behind the wheel and just accepting the frustrations of driving rather than pushing and shoving my way around and yelling at every bad driver was far better for my emotional health.
It’s a tempting upgrade from my original Xbox One, but my console is in a projection theater room and the projector is 1080p, not 4k. Trying to figure out whether it’s worth it to upgrade or not. I’m leaning towards no. I know load times are better and the image quality will have some improvement, but that doesn’t…

I advocate less homework but not zero. She’s not at school 8 hours a day. It’s more like 6, including an hour for lunch+recess. She’s entering 4th grade. Homework is reality and she won’t be prepared for middle school if she doesn’t practice math and reading outside of the home. And high school will be a real shock to…
I installed a smart lock as part of a home alarm upgrade earlier this year. The door can be locked and unlocked from the alarm app on my phone. If my wife comes home late, she can unlock the front door before she gets out of the car, making her less vulnerable on the way in.
Hmmm. Kind of makes me wish I grabbed one, but then there’s no way it’s going to stay in the box until Christmas, which means we’d have to come up with other Christmas ideas (and she’d be wanting to play all the time rather than do her homework - the school year just started after all).
I was in a Target last weekend and there were at least half a dozen in the case. Is that unusual?
I hope you’re right.
I’m still in shock over what I heard today. It’s un-fucking-believable. I thought he couldn’t shock me anymore. But he did. Everything he said tonight was an utter disaster. Every word of it.
A Doom arcade cabinet? Holy hell, I think you’re on to something. Load it up with all the classic FPS titles (Doom and Quake Series, Unreal Tournament, Duke Nukem’, Half-Life etc.) and I’d buy one right now!
I doubt these companies would license their games out to third party cabinet makers under any circumstance. So there’s no legit way to start a business like that. Maybe lesser-known titles, but not Pac Man etc.
They probably don’t bother with the small-timers, but if one gets greedy like these guys and tries to set up a factory, they might just make an example of you.
Look, we don’t know any of the details here. But we do know that Musk is not an average guy. I doubt he’s easy to be around let alone work for. But given his insanely audacious business ventures and seemingly endless energy, what did we expect?
We don’t know the details of the conversation- what was said, how it was said, etc.
Damn. I would shit.
Don’t underestimate Elon. There’s usually something substantial behind his tweets and the man has already gotten many seemingly impossible things done in his lifetime. Something real is happening here. Not quite sure what yet, but it’s not just bullshit.
