So how do these compare to a Nighthawk router and Netgear repeater connected to that router?

I can relate to that.
Your arguments make total sense, but just think about how badass this would look rolling up some foreign runway? Though it still wouldn’t help Trump’s rapidly deteriorating image.
My dad once tripped and fell into a wall so hard (while staying the night at a friend’s house) that he fractured a collar bone and came incredibly close to being paralyzed. Something like this could actually prevent a bad accident.

How come any time a Tesla is involved in an accident, the fact that it’s a Tesla gets pointed out?
Let’s be fair. Every time a Tesla is involved in an unfortunate incident, it gets 5x the press coverage of any other car (whether or not the incident had anything to do with the specific features of the car).
I don’t get the appeal of these. The narrow neck would make these a bitch to clean properly.

Agreed. While I know the Model 3 isn’t here yet, I certainly wouldn’t jump into getting an EV at this price until I see what Tesla has to offer. We already know it is likely much more spacious, works with a Supercharger, gets regular software updates, will have full autonomous driving, and accelerates faster.
Way to generate a lot of responses.
Agreed. And let’s face it. Tesla did this, and continues to improve on it, for marketing reasons. Free marketing. Because, every time they shave another few 100'ths of a second, and give it a new name (e.g. “Ludicrous Mode”), I see a dozen news articles about it. Their strategy is working beautifully, even if that…
It feels like the fucking Twilight Zone became reality. Seriously.
The attachment for that will be another $79.99.
The drivers here are cost and battery life. Sure 1080p would be better, but they’d have to put a more powerful GPU and higher res screen in the device, which would suck battery faster and also make them charge more than $299 for it. So they stepped down the GPU requirements a bit to make those other factors work out…
Agreed. The demo failure hardly matters. What matters is that Faraday Future has a TON of very difficult steps ahead to succeed as an automaker. They have to stop bleeding management and talent, for one thing. Their cars may have a ton of great sensors, but they have to source all those components at a reasonable…
I was an espresso snob with a manual Gaggia machine that I used every morning. But one day I tried the Nespresso and ended up buying one. Been using it every day ever since. No, it’s not as good as a true espresso, but it’s quite good coffee, and it’s quick and super convenient. It tastes way better than Keurig…

There are still some holdouts for sure. Probably because it’s a union shop and Joe in the filing department does not want to be replaced by computers.
In my office, we print a LOT less than we did a decade ago, due to the proliferation of PDFs, tablets, and the gradual acceptance of digital signatures by most of our clients. So I think we are getting there, finally.
I am not sure just how fast the average person will be able to afford one, but I do know this: our society BADLY needs this technology, as soon as it can be made available.
This thing is brilliant and surprisingly fast. I bought it for Black Friday. I cooked baby back ribs in it and they were as good as any I’ve had, aside from ribs slow cooked over wood for hours. The most amazing part is the entire cook time in the pot was 30 minutes (say 40 with warm up and steam release), and they…
