Why would they leave Kennedy Space Center out of even the secondary loops? Houston is on there of course but leaving out the main launch facility seems odd, even if no research per say is happening there.
Who needs life off this planet for that view of things? We are plenty capable of wiping ourselves out. Hopefully we will have grown up a bit before we make our debut at the cosmic party.
