@That_was_totally_Batman: Just count how many actions it takes to get a map to display.. My last X5 was close to 12 I think, The new one is 6. turn push, turn push.. repeat.. Just give me a damn button to show the map in one press.
iOS4 broke the (craptastic) factory iPhone integration on my new X5. Display shows up, then peaceful yet unrequested silence.

I use a GorillaPod SLR upside down for my iPad car mount. That 1/4 20 in the top will connect to lots of stuff and the legs wrap the iPad perfectly. It even sits in the seat nice if you drive alone.
