The alpha is a bit outdated now (it doesn't have any environmental puzzle, a working inventory, or even the final art and animations), but we'll keep showing how the game keeps growing and improving.

The animations shown in the alpha were made in a rush to have them ready for the Indiegogo campaign, now we are working on a more polished and "cartoonish" animations.

Just so, neither Fleischer, Disney, Warner, etc. have a similar style and we've tried to have our own style, inspired by those, but own nonetheless, as you say :)
