It’s such a great show to binge because there’s at least one surprise every week and you can immediately see how the little cliffhangers are resolved.

Because the schlubbier he is, the easier it is for Joe Schmo at home to imagine that he, too, can obtain a desirable woman in spite of his numerous flaws.
I don’t miss Parks and Rec at all why do you ask
oh my goooddd I forgot how great that exchange was.
I’d prefer to keep ASP distracted with other shows so we don’t have to see The Continuing Adventures of Disappointing Asshole Rory.
My question is, if it’s apparently popular enough to go into a third season, why can’t they just cast someone else? It’s been two decades, it should be really easy to use one of those “age up” things they do for missing kids and apply it to the Olsens as toddlers, then find an actress who roughly fits that image.
They *are* actually fraternal twins.
Bob Saget is a lot of things, but normal is not one of them. My guess would be that he handles it by being gross, as that’s his go to
Also? It’s not like they’re out there doing films and theater and just snubbing the reboot. IIRC the last time either of them acted it was a guest feature on Weeds. That must be coming on 10 years ago now. The have essentially retired from acting and successfully transitioned into a different field.
Fun (?) Fact: Kirk/Candace Cameron’s mother and her sisters were the only people in the park where I got married to my now-ex (not counting the two of us and the Justice of the Peace). She’s an amateur photographer, and they insisted on photographing the whole thing, holding us together in a prayer circle, yelling and…

There’s a familiar and depressing cycle with media coverage of child stars, where it’s: cute & wholesome until they’re 14—> suddenly the object of gross objectification —> 19-year-old It-girl status—> a less-hyped career or, much more often, dramatic flameout.
Does this mean we’re getting more Mrs. Maisel soon? The pilot is so good! I feel like we’ve been waiting forever for the rest of the season.
Could the Olsen twins have been far ahead of us in their quest for mastery of a Baba Yaga aesthetic?
Mary-Kate and Ashley often end up looking like snobs and ingrates when these stories come to light, but—
Well, she had some opposition, but she was the Democrat in an all democrat district, so she won with 72% of the vote.
In the mean time, our fucking Attorney General is about to go to trail for fraud and he’s just churning away still able to work. Wtf.
I’m still so angry about that Lane storyline. It almost seemed like they were trying to turn her into her mother. Like, she has terrible sex once, gets pregnant, and - a teen least temporarily - swears off sex.
I had always found relief from various aches and pains with periodic chiro visits. During my pregnancies it was essential. I had a condition called spd where the pelvic bones pull really far apart as the hips widen. A great chiropractor stayed on top of it and kept me mostly pain free. Even with some of the real joint…
Not just that, but the way she put it: “Why are you always taking a videos of me and I don’t know it?” means that he’s filmed her without her permission more than once, possibly on a semi-regular basis.
