I take your point, but at colleges like Texas A&M (it’s a huge fucking school), the student government bodies actually do shit. The bodies from Texas A&M and UT are actively involved with the state legislature, and, well, college kids aren’t exactly schoolchildren. As in, they’re adults, not children.

Yeah, at my old school that was how it was. Always some crazy racist, sexist, xenophobic, religious zealots standing around on campus preaching how we were all going to hell, etc. As you said, plenty of students argued with them, screamed, shouted, or sat by and watched with amusement.

Man that shit pisses me off so much. We had some of those anti-choice dipshits on our campus last week with their graphic pictures and all that nonsense. From what it looked like they weren’t getting a whole lot of attention though, so that was nice.
