He is famous in the legislature for using all the resources available to prevent the Republican supermajority in the Texas House from just bulldozing everything with their terrible bills. I figured, but as someone who worked in the Texas Legislature for a brief stint, I try to make sure everyone knows (especially since state and local laws have a much more direct effect on people’s lives, but people don’t vote for or contact them nearly as much).

This needs more stars. I worry about whether it will remain illegal once Trump takes office, but as it stands, what they are doing is illegal, because Medicaid is federal money and Planned Parenthood is a qualified provider.
