I hope the default can be set.

@Terry: I think, lawyers not withstanding, that TheFu's comment should be interpreted more along the lines of:

Just remember, don't hit the "record" button when you discuss your criminal conspiracy to obstruct justice. Kids, don't be a Nixon.

@RoFLKOPTr: You certainly take the internet seriously, don't you? As a software developer, if a code change I introduced broke something in a product I was working on between beta and release candidate, you know what that would mean? It would mean it would go back for another beta, not pushed forward.

@maalmeida: FWIW, I've been running FF 3.0.6 on the 64-bit Windows 7 Beta with no problems.

@ean5533: Please read my reply to Phoshi. Not talking about "good versions" or incompatability. Talking about literally breaking the extension.

@Varna Sri Raman: Was that with a vanilla Gmail account or one of the domain or Apps things?

Digsby. Just a glance at the tray to know if I have something in the inbox.

That's scary. This morning, I was trying to find a clean, simple way to do just that. Adam, have you been reading my mind again?

@boricuachick: For me it was the photo of John Jr. saluting his father's coffin.

I LOVE old photographs, especially of historic events. You have any idea how long I pored over NASA or AP archives for Apollo mission pictures?
