Am I silly for thinking the animations and designs themselves aren’t racist when taken out of racist context? (e.g. minority or gendered characters) A kid today, or anyone who has never really watched the old racist cartoons, wouldn’t have any idea of the meaning behind them.

Oh wow. I don’t have my 360 here now but I’m definitely going to try them one after another sometime. Interesting!

Lol true! HC TDM is always just full of campers so I haven’t messed with it this time around. There are some maps where I see the toobing a lot more often — looking at you, BOG— but it seems to be about as common as in the olden days.

I really don’t think it’s much faster. I remember dying from the same BS back in the old game. Maybe slightly faster due to better internet and dedicated servers instead of hosting, but still. I even watched videos of old CoD4 and it didnt like different to me. Idk

I’m gonna keep an eye on it. I hear it is decently simplified compared to the last few options. Maybe when it’s cheaper. Just can’t really justify two CoDs at once... they’re all too similar.

The secret is to play team-focused games like Overwatch. Cod has always been like the cesspool of online idiots, and you don’t have to rely on each other. I never talk in lobbies on CoD.

Yeah, that and the M16 are still annoying. But I can say with 40hrs logged so far, I really don’t see the noobtubes very often. I also primarily play TDM and prop hunt, occasionally hardcore search, so maybe it’s more common in hardcore TDM (which I always found to be the worst for campers and general douchebaggery)

It does look fun, but true team-based strategic FPS (like Overwatch) that require actual teamwork are more my boat. Even in modes like Search there never seems to be too much coordination.

That’s my bad, should have clarified that I meant multiplayer as far as groundbreaking. And groundbreaking was probably the wrong word— more like influential. The perk system was huge for gaming; those devs caught on early to the “customize your everything!” trend that plagues everything in society now. Killstreaks

I just bought Cod4 remastered the other day, and I’m loving it. Why should I buy this new one that “goes back to the roots” instead of the perfect remake of the series’ most groundbreaking game, the actual roots of modern CoD gameplay?

I actually grabbed horizon 1 back when it was free on games with gold. It was a lot of fun, I put 4 or 5 hrs into it and plan to play it a lot more eventually. Good suite of cars, and I really like the handling model. It isn’t as refined as FH2 and 3, but just feels really fun. I remember playing the demo on 360 and

Here are Rooney (black one) and Daisy riding in the Honda Pilot. What it lacks in sportiness it makes up for by being a huge playground for these guys.

Same here. This is the first Need for Speed title I’ve been interested in in years. I’m excited for the off-road racing, as well as the in-depth customization. My biggest fear though is the handling. There is some kind of arcade handling that has developed in the last few years, like the most recent Need for Speed,

I agree completely. FH3 was super lifeless compared to FH2, my first game of the series. I loved the European setting a lot more, but it also came down to the map. And the finale race was garbage in FH3 and exemplifies the straight road garbage. “build your fastest straight line, big engine strapped to frame car you

I didn’t play 2015 NFS even though I wanted to, just for the customization. I think this is part of the reason for a smaller car list. Every car has many extensive, unique mods. In Forza, there are tons of cars, but the majority just have the cookie-cutter “forza” spoiler and lip as far as unique parts. And while

I see the Japanese are cashing in on the hat market after witnessing Valve’s success

You’re probably right, but most of these styled crossovers have crap for room anyway when the back seats are occupied. In an ideal world we would only have hatchbacks. Compacts like we have today; taller/bigger ones like the X2, and then small SUVs, since they’re basically tall hatchbacks anyway. Sedans are dumb, why

BMW has WAY too many models. My theory is that eventually they let the 3 get too big to be called a 3, but it’s not big enough to just make it the new 5 series. So they slot the 2 in under it to take the place of the 3 (although with modern safety standards it yields a 3-sized car with a smaller interior).

You know... I just made a comment the other day on a Lambo thread about how modern lambos don’t do it for me anymore because they’re too overstyled. They’ve started to look like Mansory kits slapped on the same Lamborghini body styles we already know.
