The “replicant killing people without consequence” is because she wasn’t identified and because she worked for one of the most powerful corporations in the world... if not the most.

Wasn’t it an LAPD car?
They have insanely cool proportions, but in the last couple years they’ve sort of dropped off my radar. They’re even louder and flashier than ever— normally that’s cool, they’re supercars, but I think they’re getting overstyled. Look at the Miura, the Diablo, the Murcielago, the Gallardo... they were much simpler…
In my mind it’s more defined by the overall proportions. Wagons are long and low. Hatchbacks look shorter and more compact.
I was wondering the same thing! I’ve seen it twice now, and it was a dark scene but it looked to me like the gun was hanging beneath something. And we never saw the drone deploy. I feel like they would have made it evident that the drone split off again, so I’m voting on the spinner.
I loved it. I was blown away for days by the film — not only the awesome plot, incredible visuals, and perfect soundtrack, but also by the deep philosophical questions it raises: what is it to be human, to have a soul? And further, as we get closer to true artificial intelligence, at what point are they considered…
This is my opinion, and I think it’s also the opinion of the majority of Jalop... that we are entering the end of the golden age of automobiles.
I love to do this in lots of games. Not all of them are even open-world by definition, but have some beautifully-crafted vistas if you just stop and admire them.
I still love the way they wrapped the taillights around the trunk lip. Looks incredible.
I’m moving to Charleston with a new-to-me S2000 next May. Someone tell me how nice the convertible weather is there!
Nevermind...
Not to mention that it’s sexist off the bat to assume that men condescend disproportionately... All of these activist “issues” end up working against gender equality.
In my experience, even the ad-free platform is rough in browser form. Lots of crashing, slow as all hell.
And then Finn becomes our Jedi hero and has to take them both down.
You’re exactly right. This isn’t about unlocking everything, it’s about enjoying the mobile suits that you want to enjoy, bashing other mobile suits, getting better at the game, and climbing the leaderboards if you’re into that sort of thing.
I’m still wondering where Ex Machina and Interstellar are
Don’t forget Dear Esther which was just on a big sale on Xbone a few days ago. Other games I play to chill include Rime, and any Forza game (just cruise around the open world and admire it explore)
Shoulda checked out Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. That’s a hell of a show. One of like three animes I’ve watched. I have a pretty low bar for the anime tropes, and despite a couple cringey moments it’s one of the best shows I’ve ever seen, hands down, any medium. It brought me to tears more than once.
As others have said, it improves drastically every season, and by the end it’s incredible. Truly one of my favorite stories of any medium. The pilot episode is very, very different from the rest of the show, and should only be watched with the intent of plot set-up. Trust me- give it 5 episodes. It ramps up in quality…
I’d say Avatar’s animation style draws a lot from anime, and it’s obviously Asian-themed. But it’s intrinsically American and thus escapes a lot of the cultural-divide, too-weird, and lost-in-translation stuff that turns off a lot of first-time anime viewers. It’s more like an Asian anime-themed American cartoon.
