Beyond using the door opening noise as an alert when someone else enters, you can close all the doors of a settlement you looted so that people will think it’s unlooted, and meanwhile you’re camping on the ridge with a sniper... I’ve definitely used closed doors as bait

Scout rifle drop rate during MIDA quest: .00001

Sweet. Gone Home always sounded intriguing and was well-received. MoH Airborne was decent and will scratch my WWII single-player itch. Turing Test looks awesome.

Man I can’t even hate on cars intended to be weird. I used to despise them too, but I’d so much rather have them around to laugh at than live in a world composed entirely of beige Camrys trying to look sporty with fake vents and big wheels. At least cars like this are something different... even if they are pretty

What is that big asterisk on the EVEN MORE FREE*

I think we’re entering a new phase of the car-times.

Hm. Does this mean it’s safe to say that the second season will be quite different than the first? These are huge changes, a new director and a new animation studio... which sucks. I loved the visual style of the first season.

Counterpoint: That’s the point.

I have the hatred too. For a lot of people they are the go-to car, like the 911 in the article. But if it’s a car person who knows their shit and that’s exactly what they wanted, and they can tell you why with reasons besides “it’s a vette!” then I’m cool with it.

I think the Golf series is the only model still made entirely in Germany but I’m not sure. My Mk6 GTI has been wonderful, no issues. My brother’s Jetta of the same year (manufactured in Mexico) has been a terror.

It’s kind of cool when you drive something nerd-cool and only get attention from car people who know what it is.

Car-sharing makes a TON of sense for most people. I will keep my S2000 on the side, but a program like this where you pay to have access to a car, with spares available, a lot of the financial painful stuff removed from the customer, and occasional upgrades sounds awesome.

Unnecessary, maybe. But I’m all for unique mega-classics like this to be remade every. single. generation. Because maybe one day ten years from now I’ll get super nostalgic and want to play Shadow of the Colossus. I’m also hoping these digital remastered titles get easier to port to future generations so maybe they

I hate exclusive anything. This one was so simple though, it just felt like a console game.

Laughed out loud at the Dodge “Attitude.” Whoever came up with that one had a sense of humor, and it’s such a crappy car I’m sure the higher-ups just pushed it along like “who will even care”

In my book, 1943 is a very close second to Bad Company 2 for best modern game of the series. It was the first Battlefield game I purchased. I remember watching trailers and seeing people run around an entire island, with planes and boats, and get in real rifle-range engagements instead of the CoD spray-and-pray I was

My favorite part was the squirrels. The idea that they have a vast, worldwide network and are using human governments like pawns is hilarious, and the fact that even Rick is terrified gives it weight. Fantastic, I would imagine the idea came from Justin being drunk at some point.

This is like S2000 prices. The nostalgia or “cool” factor add a lot to the price. There simply aren’t cars like this anymore. I’m sure it is a bloated tourer and not that great to drive, but some people will kill to own one.

Same. I want the intake and exhaust to help it breathe better, not for any real power gains. Plus they’re bolt-on and can come right off. I don’t want a Spoon hardtop or anything, the stock one is beautiful. And I’m not a huge fan of the stock wheels so I’ll change those out. And the sound system needs an upgrade.

I like it! Excellent job not compressing the rear window into nothingness, as is the current trend. Looks good, and also looks sizeable on the inside, won’t feel cramped.
