I think the newest Golfs sport the grille pretty well. And the newest Jettas. There was a rough time in VW's past, like that whole giant chrome grille thing, but since then I think they've cleaned up nicely.

My Rock n Roll History class this semester covered this song. Super awesome.

star wars battlefront ii space battles <3 imagine any star wars game with this tech. SWBF II managed to feel like a huge battle even though it was only two capital ships and ~24 fighters/bombers/etc... i cant even imagine it with this engine

$20 is still kind of a lot for a relatively unpopular game from years ago, imho and compared to what ive seen. but i digress

and like a normal engine and stuff

and now VW needs to join with this:

SO SPENSIVE for a relatively unpopular game from last gen that is several years old, plus shipping. it's just so much easier to go to gamestop, which is unfortunate, because it's gamestop, but i'm pretty sure i've seen it cheaper there and no shipping cost and immediate gratification

this has always been on my list, I just couldn't justify 60$ on it. the demo was fun, and now i will be searching for it used somewhere

It makes me so happy to see a new wave of awesome 8-bit adventure games coming back. Hyper Light Drifter, and now Rain World, look like really cool titles

all cats are sluts

internet anonymity makes anyone a douche... dayz can get frustrating, im more scared of this game, as awesome as it looks

such excellence

just because it looks better...

i mean obviously it isn't "synth-only" but i was trying to come up with words to describe the sound, i dunno. i meant like percussionless atmospheric sort of sound

Now playing

Thank you for posting Mogwai! They are my favorite band for sure. I would highly encourage anyone to check them out, as their style is so diverse that anyone could find something they like.

yeah, but mogwai don't like the label and claim they don't really understand it. they really do seem to fit into their own genre, as their stuff has such a wide range. they'll go from synth-0nly chill sound with no percussion to a wall of distorted guitar on the same album

i would also call the people that fly to amsterdam just to smoke pot "pot fiends," and i think that traveling for local alcohols is a different ball park. stoners smoke illegally at home, why throw tons of money away to travel to do it legally for a few days other than being super invested in weed culture like crazy

fair enough. my first thought just went to all the kids who are "stoked" to go to colorado so they can do what they do here "except it's legal man, plus a place that makes it legal has to be a chill place, you know?" (direct quotes)

I'd call anyone who buys plane tickets and flies to Colorado, because it is the new Weed Mecca, just to get high legally, a pot fiend. I say this because I know plenty who smoke but only the true stoners are seriously talking about traveling to Colorado
