And Mirena IUDs, while shorter-lived (5yrs USA, 7yrs EU), cause 1/3 of women to have no period. And they protect against uterine cancer (especially for us PCOS ladies).
I have my second copper IUD (the first one worked flawlessly for 12 years): both were 100% covered (the first by Medicaid, the 2nd by ObamaCare insurance). No hormones to mess with my system. Normal periods like clockwork.
