What you get is a brick with cop fanboi flair on it.

Not even old Leafs degrade that fast, and every other EV has much less degradation than that.

Yep. Last I read the Bolt is restarting production next week, presumably with different, extremely thoroughly QC-ed batteries.

This was the logic of the BMW i3, and it just doesn’t pan out.

Yeah, it’s a ton of work to then sell the car 9,000 miles later.

Unfortunately they don’t kill the Tree of Heaven - but they will absolutely ruin some crops like grapevines.

The PHEV is sold in the US. Not just in CARB states, either.

The PHEV is sold in the US, but for some reason the previous generation.

Jose mixed up the names for the Model S and the Bolt - the Bolt is what sells in 20.8 days for $22k and the Model S in 21.3 days for $64k.

I accidentally did this the other day, looked to back up and realized I needed to adjust my daughter’s carseat, so I got up to do it - and she started yelling “No, no, no! If you live in a Pennsylvania municipality with more than 10,000 people, there’s a compost site you have access to with free mulch and compost. Mine has a staffed front-end loader on Wednesday afternoons to fill up pickup trucks for $20.

Yes. I agree it would be a massive hit. Yet I would have to drive 45 miles to New Jersey to buy one - or get any PHEV recalls fixed. If you live in Texas, forget it.

I was hoping this review would be about the PHEV (though Jalopnik tends not to plug in PHEVs when they review them). It’s a tow-capable PHEV crossover! But only sold in CARB states in limited numbers.
