Yeah, I read the Washington Post story, and it could be a lot shorter if it just said “a lot of people didn’t read the original contractand decided to go to war over $125, but upon reading everyone went ‘uh-oh, our bad, nvm’”.

I’m not being purposefully contrarian. I just fundamentally disagree with the notion that it’s somehow a moral failing to go to a fucking party because of who else might be on the guest list. Within reason, of course, but this looks to be within reason.

Voters WANT this system. It always gives you something to talk about (if you’re insufferable) and it provides a simple binary choice. That’s the correct difficulty level for most voters. A or B. Up or down. 1 or 2.

It’s great to see that it is possible for people on both teams to sit down and be civil with one another... It’s just a wonder why they can’t do that when they show up to their tax paid jobs.
