Agreed. What do we do about that? ( I’m not trolling you, it’s a serious question we need to be addressing!)

The FBI investigation, and Mueller, and the House/Senate ones, are looking into actual collusion between Trump’s team & Russia.

Comey thought Clinton was going to win. When he did that she was up in the polls double digits.

It’s true that the reason Russia was able to do effectively exploit our free media (thru trolling, Wikileaks’s etc) was “our fault”: Americans are often not following news actively, there is a lot of deeply ingrained sexist/racist/xenophobic bias & and other flaws (class warfare by Republicans going back decades.

I doubt that! Just think of every OTHER nasty thing trump did in 2015-16 (not that anyone can remember them all): lead the birther movement. Refuse to distance himself from David Duke or the white supremacist guys he retweeted, or the Bannon/Breitbart crew etc. Mock a disabled reporter. Attack the family of a

That’s who jumped to my mind when I read it tonight. He was there with Flynn in December & I think it was WaPo that listed his personal meetings/calls with Russian pols back in January.

WaPo & NYT have it: lists of his lies, timelines & charts detailing the various investigations & actions taken thus far. They are awful things to see.... but man, I’m glad those journalists are putting it out there. Just go on both of their websites & search.

I don’t think congress (or the public) will let that happen now that the craziness of Comey’s firing is out.

Now that the story made front page NYT congress wants Comey to testify about it. From what I’ve read, he rejected the request to do so in private but said he’d do it if the testimony was open to the public.

And..... so the NYT had a story yesterday about that conversation Comey had with Trump that I’d HIGHLY recommend y’all read/listen to.

So far that’s true.... but if the stinks keep coming they’ll kick him to the curb.

True. I think (hope?) we’ll get there someday & hopefully sooner than my dotage.

That’s the MOST frustrating thing for me when I’m talking politics with friends. They seem to want to just blame Dems for everything that isn’t perfect (because for a hot minute we had congressional majorities).

Yes that about sums it up. I don’t know about you, but I was basically apolitical (except posting here & maybe taking irl) until November but now....

Really? ..... I thought it was part of the law, but Obama/Dems had imagined that states would not skip out because the red ones (frankly) had the most to gain (Kentucky, looking at you!) .But it was part of the lawsuits the followed, huh? Thank you for clarifying that.

I do think it’s possible- in 2-4 years, with heavy optimism... more likely within a couple decades.

Yes, I agree with that. And I am heartened by the surge of folks who now support ACA (both those that are just happy to now have it’s very real benefits, and those that see it as a stepping stone). Personally I’m in both of the above camps!

So true!
