I was pretty dialed in on picking it up before playing the demo. Not so much anymore...maybe once it drops in price. The story seems interesting but the puzzle gameplay pretty much did nothing for me. It pretty much shares nothing in common with the SMT games (which is Atlus' core fanbase) outside of the aesthetics.

Hmm...I guess its just a coincidence that I haven't played any recent games that give them out. I don't remember any games doing it since Halo Reach to be honest. I just get really annoyed that every time a new game releases I see an ad on XBL dash trying to schill avatar clothing. I wish more developers gave these…

Not just you. I think it just looks strange because there are no transparency effects. So it just looks like this giant fire sprite pasted on top of a character in the Kyo and Billy screens. It does look better in motion but I think they could have blended it a bit better.

Did that Dragon Age series ever come out? Or did they not want to make things worse after Dragon Age II? BD

Chrono Cross was one of the best PS1 RPGs. The people who complain are usually those who wanted the game to be exactly like Chrono Trigger.
