True for just about any pet store animal. I buy rats from pet stores only because I can't bear the thought of them going unsold and becoming feeders. That (generally) doesn't happen with breeder rats, which are treated so well from the moment of birth.

Twister can be construed as acceptable, since he did have reddish hair and freckles (not necessarily excluded from Hispanics) but he was slightly darker on the show.

It's especially troubling that many of the ethnic characters were either drawn with typical white characteristics and slightly dark skin or just white.
