No one chooses addiction, but people certainly do choose to begin using drugs. If you don't want to risk addiction than don't begin using drugs.

Addiction is a serious problem, but people make a choice to begin using drugs and to continue using them. If you do not have the willpower to choose your family and life over something as simple as a drug than you failed.
