So then they put in hids, so everything overheats, and the beam pattern is ruined, but they’re nearly the lumens of a stock unit.

As a subtropical resident, that sounds awful
Nailed it. Coworkers think I’m wasting my money keeping my old panther chassis on the road, I think they’re wasting their money on all the fees associated with a new car.
They’re wasting our limited supply of dinosaur juice. We have plenty right now, but it comes with it’s own costs; global warming, pollution, damage to the environment to remove it from the ground, etc...
I’d like it to be more expensive as well. I’d still use just as much, because I really enjoy burning gas diddling…
I mow my yard when it’s getting too leafy looking, now it doesn’t actually remove any leaves, but the get chopped up and fall between the blades of grass :D
Fellow B16 civvy driver here. I keep mine stock height, and get right about where your std. height car is at.
not to mention pumping losses, pumping losses people, you can save fuel through reduced pumping losses.
I drove around cars worth 200-1000 from 9th grade until graduation from college. I put hundreds of thousands of hard miles on theses cars. Modern automobiles are ridiculously reliable. Now it really is nearly impossible to find something that runs for less than 1k, and this makes me feel sorry for the people of the…
haha, I had a similar experience.
Ah North Dakota was similar (although they did carry points). I much prefer that method, handing out a little slap on the wrist for a very insignificant offense.
Then I moved to Minnesota, and it's been a series of suspended licenses and court battles.
During college, I drove my some what run down Honda Civic. I had ran a turbocharger on this car during high school, and left the aftermarket engine management on it. Well, this gave me the ability to make the engine backfire on over run, my friends told me it was 'gun shot' loud :). Most folks didn't really mind…
This is one thing I love about older Hyundais. They don't govern them. I was driving my parents, new 2006 Elantra down a VERY empty VERY straight section of road, and for shits and giggles I thought I'd see if it was govern'd at 110 like every other cheap midsize sedan.
because everyone likes metal....
the usual problem is lack of power. It takes a good bit of juice to spin 4 tires.
Well, it is a somewhat energy intensive process to get from crude oil to gasoline, and of course a fuel can't be efficent or inefficent.
I agree with this guy, completely useless, gimmicky ordeal.
Woah, that local PD better be careful, some might consider 'Asshat' to be threatening language
He is clearly threatening to rape all of the towns female dogs. Fucking idiot, (in case the sarcasm has gone over your head, I am in no way threatening to rape an imbucile.
Is it just me, or would the branch come down directly on top of the poor Buick if they succeeded?
I concur, I see this along the same lines as installing breathalyzers in every new cars ignition.
