Real guitar lasers! Man, if I could get my plastic guitar to shoot plastic guitar lasers, Megatron (the gun Megatron, not the crappy pacifist Megatron) would have his freaking hands full!

I gotta say that the menus in this game are perfect. There is no loading screen. Every click gets you to the next screen immediately.

@Viet0ne: "Watch as LBP comes out and decimates Xbox360 sales for the rest of the year and with more games coming out in 2009, the 360 wont bounce back up."

@dowingba: I don't own a single multi disk game for my 360. And I there are none on the horizon that I want to buy. I don't see it becoming an issue because there are so few games that need that much data.

@riffleraffle: The PS2 controller also sucks. People just didn't know it until the 360 controller came along.

@ac2334: Huh? I've never had trouble finding points cards in any of my local stores. They always have stacks of them at Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, etc... And those are the places where you can buy them cheap, too.

@the_grimace: So some people like paying full price. Others like paying half. I'm in the 2nd group. ;) Of course, most people don't realize they have a choice. Just buy the cards when they are on sale.

@SAKY: Publishers pay for getting the game through ESRB and other rating boards around the world. They also pay for localization. Lots of stuff that the devs may not have the cash for.

@ac2334: The only thing unethical about points is that I haven't ever purchased points at full price. I pay, at most, half price for Microsoft points by buying the cards when they are on sale, or using coupons to buy the cards.

@Ad-hominem: Except Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts is only $40.

The 80GB is $399. So it makes sense for them to drop the price of the 40GB version until they are gone. Otherwise, they are just going to sit on shelves (if there are any left).

No Wipeout demo. That blows. I'm not going to buy it sight unseen.

Who's John Thompson?

@sascha23: If it fails at being a Sony Europe ad, that can only be a good thing.

And this is why Microsoft points for XBox Marketplace purchases are a GOOD thing! You don't see PSN cards being given away for free. For that matter, you don't usually see PSN cards at all!

@robinandtami: "I think that MS is going to have to rethink the hhd situation and reverse some policies, especially with the upcoming ability to install entire games to the hhd."

@NeilMcConnell: XBox 360 games already do implement caching if a hard drive is present. It speeds up game loading.

Bigger hard drives aren't really cheaper.

@Lachoy: "Even if we give them the fact it cost $70 at the beginning, by the time 4 years ticked by (which is an eternity in computronics) there is no way on earth in heaven or hell an 8 gig hdd more than $20-$30"

@sundawn: "couldn't care less.
