I don’t know that press conferences need to be broadcast live. Recorded by the news agency, for sure, but broadcast live? What does that do other then give the upper hand to an immoral administration?

Definitely agree with you. I’d imagine, though, that a butcher could probably give a total novice pretty good advice on prepping a steak. Maybe miles away from a properly prepared steak from a restaurant but (I’d hope, anyway) a good start.
