I actually like them too,  but I wouldn’t get one because you have to give up all the active safety tech to have it.

The 2020 CLA looks legit though. Up til now the interior was kind of low rent for a MB, but the new one looks amazing. (At least in photos.)

Hi Elindos,

As I said, I don’t ever buy a car or other product based on any of this. I also mentioned to someone else that most industries (including the automotive industry) are so international in nature now that it’s practically useless to say a car is American. Even if a car is designed and assembled here, many if not most of

Correct. If I cared about that. I forgot they were bought by Fiat. Realistically, cars are so multinational, I think it’s silly to worry about the details of where things are made or who owns the company or whatever. Even when you buy an “American” car, even if it’s assembled here, many of the parts come from other

Yeah I know. I’m American. If Chevy was bought by a foreign company, I’m not sure I’d consider it a patriotic purchase even if they started putting the stars and stripes on the roofs of their cars. (I don’t buy based on patriotism, but if I did, I’d want to buy something actually American owned to qualify.)

I love Jags. But they still have a reputation for bad reliability. (And the data matches that perception.) New products are important, but changing the public perception of them being unreliable is even more important I think.

Yeah the heritage is British but it’s German owned now so it’s kind of iffy on if that should be considered a patriotic purchase.

Ingestion would (presumably) cause the capsules to breakdown faster. Not sure if the virus could survive stomach acid...

It actually works in the movie...it’s not a raw virus. They are in tiny microscopic capsules that will breakdown after like 2 or 3 days. And there is a device that can filter them out of her blood if it’s done before that time period ends.

I thought it was a fun if ridiculous action flick.

I’m not sure. I’m an IT guy. lol. I just knew the max rate on long term capital gains was 20%.

The reason he is only paying 20% tax on this is it’s a long term capital gain. When you liquidate (sell) an instrument that you held for more than a year, the maximum tax on that is 20%. The tax rate falls into 1 of 3 rates, which are based no your annual income. If your income is less than about $40K a year, you will

Yeah, your experience is similar to a review I just read today. He also said that a recent software update fixed a white screen problem where the screen would flash white momentarily sometimes.

I’m planning to go to a Microsoft Store to do a demo and check it out. I’m also going to go to a Best buy to try out the

They are taking pre-orders. So I assume that is what they are using to figure out where they are on selling the planned production for 2020:

Some people would be good and some wouldn’t. They even mention in the article that the show is a commentary on how shitty people with wealth / fame / power can be. Ever heard the saying “Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power, corrupts absolutely”? That observation is true for many people.

This interior does look awesome. If they paired this with a green metallic exterior like this ... holy shit....well, I keep trying to attach a damn image of the color green I’m thinking and the damn site just keeps not doing it.  So just go here: https://95octane.com/2019/04/30/2020-toyota-86-hakone-edition/

Yeah, but only if you were going the maximum speed that it functions at. If I was heading at a speed bump or curb, I sure as hell wouldn’t be going 24mph over it. Way slower.

I think the higher trim levels may be a more expensive upgrade than they were on the C7s. Can’t be sure based on just pics, but it looks like the LT3 interior in particular is going to have much higher quality materials than the C7 LT3. If that’s the case, I think we can expect the cost difference between LT1, 2 and 3

US Navy had an active fighter pilot who retired in 2015 who was 54 years old. The Aussies just had a fighter pilot retire last year that was 66.
