I wonder how Jobs is going to file the lawsuit on this one.

@Unspellable: Really, this story, true or not, is irrelevant to politics. I don't even like O'Donnell or her policies, but what she does in her private life has nothing to do with her politics.

@FriedPeeps: Couldn't have said it better myself.

@CptnGrammar: If you squint, it bares a striking resemblance to that Apple tablet thing people are talking about.

@gemcosta: Because simplicity is bad, right?

I think it's more that the remote *looks* complicated, rather than that it is complicated. It looks weird. It'll scare off many normal people. It's going to be a big hinderance to the success of Sony's Google TVs.

@gybryant: Left and right wing politics aren't directly related to liberality or authoritarianism.

@Non-Engineer: I doubt it. Google Maps's photos aren't detailed enough.

@iDon't even: That's a pretty through search, well done.

@adamthiede: I'm not sure they could close OS X down legally - well, at least not any current version or Lion. They would be removing described functionality, and (I'd imagine) violating a few trade laws.

There seems to be some misunderstanding here.

@WTF! Realityism!: Apple aren't stopping you running non-App Store apps on the Mac. If they did do that, it would kill the platform fo' sho'.

What's with the small metal-looking band around the iPhone 4 in Slash Gear's picture?

@Guard: He said 'high resolution', not 'high definition'.

@RecipeForHate: Just to clarify: all I meant was it was strange that they didn't provide a link directly to the stream.

The URI in the press release must be wrong. Why would a steam be on the home page of Apple's UK website?

@Paul Thompson: That wouldn't help. This isn't an artificial restriction - the technology Apple are using to stream this event (HTTP Live Streaming) hasn't been implemented on anything other than iOS and Snow Leopard.
