Maybe I'm just lame, but all this idle gossip about Bruce Jenner on here kinda rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's that I kinda hate tabloid journalism in general, but it's sorta like really, guys? We can't be at least a little bit better than this? Perhaps I'm square. I don't know.

Yeah, what you said. Like, I get why she made that choice. He's certainly a scumbag, too. Can we just kinda agree that, simply because an action is understandable, doesn't mean it's right or okay or whatever? Is that so hard? Or do we have to go right away to the "lolol he deserved it" mentality?

I was raised catholic and went to church every Sunday. I don't reliably go now, but I try to as much as I can. I don't think I had a bad experience. Maybe it's because I went to a pretty liberal church, or that my parents raised me so I didn't think that morality inherently came from religion, or something else. But

Rand Paul really is the fucking worst, isn't he?

It's always nice to see some research dissing that "there's no good without God" bullshit. That's the worst. I was raised catholic, and still (mostly) am, but that sentiment always pissed me off. People are generally pretty decent, and no lack of belief in a deity is going to make someone into a murderer or a thief or

Huh. Thank you for that. I wasn't aware of that particular wrinkle. You learn something new every day, I suppose.

(I changed my mind again. Carry on.)

My favorite part about his status as a "doctor" is that he totaly isn't. He's board certified by a board he created, along with his family. This man has no business practicing medicine, giving any sort of policy recommendations on the basis of his status as a doctor, or even speaking aloud. Does anyone else remember

Is it really that hard to avoid introducing hateful legislation when you're in elected office? I mean, I'd figure that there would be actual governing and shit to do. Perhaps I'm wrong.

This headline was wild from start to finish.

Though I really hate to wade into this mess, I find it rather disingenuous to blame Obama for not following through on his promises. He had a filibuster-proof majority for only about a year. Reagan also promised to make the government live within its means, even as he ran up significant deficits while in office.

I don't know. Maybe I'm odd, but I kinda like the "holy shit this much power should not be in something this shape" aspect to cars. Like fast wagons and fast hatches and fast minivans (I even like the R63 AMG, for this reason). A sports car might be better in almost every conceivable way, but it doesn't have that

The worst part about this is that, if anyone really did have an ankle-fucking fetish, the lack of an ankle bone in this thing would really kill the mood.

The Oscars: Demonstrating that the Academy is old, white, and out-of-touch since wheneverthefuck.

Yeah, he's a prick, but, for me at least, a lovable sort of one. But seriously, what do they have to learn from the Volt? Do you see their ever being a Tesla with a drive system looking anything like the Volt's? Because I really don't.

We did this whole song-and-dance before, though. Remember when the Model S was a decent concept that was never ever going to see production because the company was basically bankrupt?

The 192 cars that were piled up on I-94 last weekend would show you how well humans do in those conditions.

People, just don't be dicks. Is it seriously this hard to do that? Seriously? Ugh. People make me very stabby sometimes.

But I'm pretty sure range is about 45% of what makes a Tesla a Tesla. The cool thing about the Model S is that it's a pretty great car, period. You don't have to put the "electric" caveat before it. Will this be that? Who knows? But good range does not a Tesla fighter make.

This is very true. I enjoy it tremendously, but it's not particularly smart television. There are at least a couple shows this year that were better, and probably more than that.
