I read that it’s almost impossible to display correctly on most screens, so you can only see it properly in person.

For those wondering, “invented” colors are known in the industry as lab colors. These are colors (usually vibrant colors like neons and fluorescents) that cannot be created using percentages of cyan, yellow, magenta and black but must be specially mixed using other processes.
It’s also the shade of blue that Blue Man Group uses for their makeup.
I don’t know about the 4 series, that grille would be haunting just floating there.
Don’t forget all the Civic-like owners that will end up tinting the SHIT out of their front/rear lights.
That’s dope. It looks like the blue a TV displays when there’s no source input (or earlier versions of Windows used to show when they crashed).
On invented colors, my favorite is International Klein Blue, designed by artist Yves Klein in 1960. It’s heartachingly, deeply blue.
It would only be dangerous following it at night if it was applied to a Toyota or Mazda CUV, because around me their owners never turn their lights on and run DRLs only.
it was just an experiment. tons of people in the comments wanted that dip but fonzie wont sell it. he said it doesnt have the quality he wants for products with his brand name on it. but fuck it i say if we want rolling black holes then we accept the consequences of the color. and vantablack and things like it absorb…
Yeah, we are kicking ourselves in the face, collectively, by these dumb immigration restrictions/rules. No doubt.
Love the sleeper aspect of the brick, and this is one of those cars that I haven’t really seen the ‘drop an LS in’ method, though I would have probably put more fun wheels on it. Interior is in way nicer shape than I’ve seen in an older Volvo.
I work for a giant company with offices all over the country and internationally as well. Again, we have diverse teams but they are not in my particular arm of the cmpany. Ive been working in tech for 20+ years and the vast, vast, vast majority of my coworkers and managers have always been white guys.
Such a clickbait headline, but I can’t really expect anything less from Erik. Tesla’s leadership is 59% white. The U.S. is 60.1% white. As much as I love to shit on Tesla, it seems like Tesla is doing a pretty good job making sure whites aren’t over represented amongst their leadership.
Honestly I’m kinda over the “lack of diversity in the workplace” thing. You can’t hire someone who is a person of color or a minority or a female (or any combination) just because you need diversity. You hire the best person for the position regardless of race or gender. Period.
these things will for sure nickel and dime ya - but if you can wrench yourself, they’re cheap and easy and far better choice than any Jeep of the same price or vintage.
As presented, 2k for a 4WD runner with no major issues, NP.
I’m not sure that’s true. The 3rd gen TL outsold the BMW 3-series for a time period in the mid-late 00s, which is well after the time period you mentioned. They weren’t what most would call “modestly powered” either — the TL was making near or over 300hp in some variants in the mid 00s, which outdid Audi and BMW and…
You’re not wrong about the name changes, but I’d argue that Acura’s shining moment was when the RSX, TSX, TL, and NSX were all available at the same time.
This has been mentioned before...Acura execs getting jealous that their individual cars “Legend” and “Integra” had better name recognition than “Acura” as a brand, so they renamed them the “RL” and “RSX” and then slowly killed whatever public goodwill they had. Their fix? To make their lineup more and more bland yet…
GM letting Saab and Saturn wither on the vine, leading to their eventual death.
