For those wondering, “invented” colors are known in the industry as lab colors. These are colors (usually vibrant colors like neons and fluorescents) that cannot be created using percentages of cyan, yellow, magenta and black but must be specially mixed using other processes.

It’s also the shade of blue that Blue Man Group uses for their makeup.

I don’t know about the 4 series, that grille would be haunting just floating there.

On invented colors, my favorite is International Klein Blue, designed by artist Yves Klein in 1960. It’s heartachingly, deeply blue.

It would only be dangerous following it at night if it was applied to a Toyota or Mazda CUV, because around me their owners never turn their lights on and run DRLs only.

Love the sleeper aspect of the brick, and this is one of those cars that I haven’t really seen the ‘drop an LS in’ method, though I would have probably put more fun wheels on it.  Interior is in way nicer shape than I’ve seen in an older Volvo.

I work for a giant company with offices all over the country and internationally as well. Again, we have diverse teams but they are not in my particular arm of the cmpany. Ive been working in tech for 20+ years and the vast, vast, vast majority of my coworkers and managers have always been white guys.

Honestly I’m kinda over the “lack of diversity in the workplace” thing. You can’t hire someone who is a person of color or a minority or a female (or any combination) just because you need diversity. You hire the best person for the position regardless of race or gender. Period.

these things will for sure nickel and dime ya - but if you can wrench yourself, they’re cheap and easy and far better choice than any Jeep of the same price or vintage.

You’re not wrong about the name changes, but I’d argue that Acura’s shining moment was when the RSX, TSX, TL, and NSX were all available at the same time. 

This has been mentioned before...Acura execs getting jealous that their individual cars “Legend” and “Integra” had better name recognition than “Acura” as a brand, so they renamed them the “RL” and “RSX” and then slowly killed whatever public goodwill they had.
