Clearly.

I can't imagine sharing a life with someone but not sharing a bank account with them - not being judgy, swear. Removing roommate from that list - if you are sharing a habitat with a partner or a spouse - why would you be in a position to quibble over milk and bread? Being earnest here, I promise - I just don't get

I've been using a product called Menerva's Kiss (Amazon, $25) for the past few months, and it's done wonders. My wrinkles aren't of the new sort - I'm 40 - but the change it has made in the texture and the elasticity of my skin is amazing!

They didn't know it was wrong? Please tell me how you think a kid gets to 16 and doesn't know this is wrong? Also - what is your definition of a poor choice if how they acted wasn't a cognizant choice?

Well no, not literally because as far as we know - no one died in this story.

Again - sorry to bring the news reports into it - it wasn't all that long...it was just deep.

And I think all of you are grossly misunderstanding the difference between an AD and an educational video. You DO know this was a commercial to sell clothes, right?

Absolutely - so why hasn't the story (blog posting) shifted to center more around the woman who was conned into taking her into her home and treating her like the wounded child she said she was?

Ok, seriously? I wasn't rude, and I even said if I'm in the wrong, I apologize - my point was this...once there are fact reported in places, perhaps the blog posts can reflect those facts.

I really don't think I was being rude - I think you're being a little sensitive. I never once pointed YOU out, I just said that this was a news story now and shouldn't be reported on as a blog post.

So there is background that she's tried this in other states - to me, that somehow dilutes the sadness of this story.

Sigh - ok, didn't pay much attention to the fact that you were the originator - so I apologize. But seriously? This was covered on CNN today with more details - that's not your fault, so I do apologize for a tone. I just don't like seeing news stories related in a non-news way here - once it's news, it should be

I think it's sweet - and so naive - for you to just think she wanted an education.

The "friend who let her stay with her" was acting has her legal guardian in the eyes of the school.
Come on, guys - it's news now, so y'all could do some research and make sure your posts are at least up-to-date if not always 100% accurate.

Seriously? You should probably spend a little more time researching ad composition if you really think this. There are "doctors" on commercials who might in fact be doctors, but they are very often DOs, Chiropractors - NOT MDs.

Sometimes they are - sometimes they aren't.

So you think there should be a requirement that they have a disclaimer stating "not really a dancer"???

Nope - dancing is DANCING.

She's DANCING. She isn't demonstrating technique, either. She is dancing.

So those "doctors" in commercials aren't doctors...just saying.
