My undergrad is Literature with a minor in Philosophy, my wife’s undergrad is a double major Spanish and Philosophy....with our kids we are like - “You are gonna be good at math or else...”

He is right that people with liberal arts degrees are smarter with their money, mostly because we only have three dollars.

Then move to San Fran/San Jose, grow a beard, eat soy burgers, wear patchouli cologne and step over homeless people and their excrement on your way out the door to go to work!

The one that really bugs me is the Tesla practice of discounting the cumulative 6 year Potential Savings into the up-front sales price and the monthly lease or loan payment.

All bad suggestions. Someone straight out of college with reliable transportation shouldn’t be buying ANYTHING. How about paying down those college loans and investing into tax deferred retirement funds.
