let it be cube of coal - when you buy it - you own it and can touch/carve/burn it.
with NFT you have receipt of payment. that is all. nothing else.
If the receipt is what you wanted to own - then fine.

they own a receipt that they paid $$ for the “something”. That “something” is owned by someone else.
And if they lose the piece of paper on which they wrote the password/address to their Vallet that contains that receipt — they will never recover it.

with Pollock painting you actually get a Painting , canvas and all, that you can touch , move to your kitchen or safe and in 100 years your descendants can open it and still see it.

with NFT’s you do not own “mona lisa” or its CoFa - you own a receipt that you paid X amount for “mona lisa”. that’s it.
Actual “mona lisa” is either owned by someone else, or is entirely free to anyone to download.
