As someone who’s pro streamer, I agree with this comment. This guy hit adulthood as a streamer and has never had to work 40 hours a week to pay rent. I work 40-60 hours a week and that’s just normal for 90% of us.

He said he felt trapped by the neverending grind to create, saying streaming “six to eight hours a day” has grown tiring.
Before I had kids, I never really understood the draw of phone games. It isn’t just the easier pick-up-put-down, but there’s intangible vibes too - I can be on my phone and still in the mix parenting, but the vibe of sitting on the couch with a controller while kids run amock just isn’t good optics.
I mean I stopped playing OW1 (really, because I had to, because OW2 completely overwrote it), but mostly because of the battle pass system and the aforementioned naked greed. There will be whales to replace the money I would have paid, but the best way to protest is to put the damn game down.
“MW2 can’t afford to not have dedicated servers” lol
This article doesn’t do itself any favors by being vague on the sequence of events. But it seems like Rios started this off by accusing the org of not compensating her last Friday, and only accused Huerta of sexual assault as what amounts to an afterthought on Saturday - is that how it went? I’m not a Twitter user…
Hey guys...we pretty much take it for granted no one is responding to your request for comment.
Whether she likes it or not!
Ha! I’ll share that one with the missus
I’m confused about how the podcast allegations fit into this? Doesn’t recording a podcast mean you grant consent for it to be aired? Who goes on a podcast like “we’re gonna sit here and talk in front of these microphones which are recording, but I don’t want you to air it”? Is that the compensation part? Did they…
I know this line of reasoning doesn’t really fly on AV Club, but, you know, allegations.
and people laughed at me for outputting my sound from built-in monitor speakers but guess who is laughing from his perfectly shaped skull now.
...if they synergize well. Since Diablo 2 (not quite as obvious with D3, but the 3 passives you’d select were basically what forced synergy as well), synergy of skills has been very important.
Also, a tip: try to look into what your character’s skills/gear open up. For example, with Shadow Imbuement + Penetrating Shot +…
Jesus Christ! 6 hours to get everything for each drop!? They value our time, eh?
Looks like a whole load of nothing to me. “Comment number 2/3” pretty much amount to “you explore the world and stuff happens”, and “comment number 4” is meaningless since they’re not about to tell people not to buy the game. Would have been nice to embed (or even better, screenshot) all four of these for the…
Certainly no more impossible than a small time standup comedian making rent on an Upper West Side apartment.
I've watched a lot of Tik Toks showcasing NYC apartments and I don't think there's any such thing as "impossible dimensions"
I will fight you on Nuts and Bolts. That game was rad AF.
Making bad business decisions is not a catch-22. Its not a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” scenario.
Honest question: If you want to see what people are saying on the internet - who don’t make videos - where do you go other than Reddit and Twitter now?
Forums are basically dead and Discords are more insulated. There’s, uhhh, comment sections like this, I guess. I’d gladly give up Reddit and Twitter, but it seems like…
