Thank you for correcting the headline. I keep telling writers that today’s standards aren’t up to snuff — headlines can be semantically confusing at best or misleading at worst (meaning flat-out incorrect, partially or fully, sometimes).

Certifications aren’t just handed out willy nilly. Even the big wigs occasionally have to resubmit — this is the rare occasion it’s actually reported on and also be big enough news to break through the noise.

You really need to pay more attention.

They’re —> their.

Who’s actually being toxic, though, most of the time? Show hosts don’t do grunt work at that stage in their careers, so they’re not present in the “muck” for much of the day — they’re in offices next to writers’ rooms, of which those are ostensibly closed doors to the crew and support staff.

It ended weeks ago.

How the fuck is this a fluff piece? That’s happy-go-lucky local articles (“Local Community Centre Makes A Garden for Little Kiddies”) or the opposite of slam/hit pieces on someone's character or persona ("Elon Musk Is Hawt As Fuck")

That's not an ad hominem, says the guy named after it.

It’s also bc the Left is far more ideologically diverse. Pretty much results in how there’s more multiple large leftist and left-leaning parties in countries like Canada. What's the opposite of consolidation?

Keighley is an employee of Gamescom, ultimately. Not a leader. This isn't his TGA pet project that he zombie'd out of the ashes of Spike, or the subsequent SGF that "flourishes" simply bc there's too many fuckin summer trailers and they need an off-site.

It’s a semantics-focused argument, not one based on design philosophy. The theme of the game is wrestling, not JRPG genre itself (it doesn’t necessarily provide direct commentary on the gameplay genre or even meta-commentary). The JRPG design scheme is how it chose to tell that theme.

For me it’s the other way around: it explores *wrestling* through an RPG lens. Fits with it being a game and all.

Episodes” are a mistake.

Please delete my post; I am replying to the wrong comment and there's no option for me to delete it

I never liked the “playing victim” crap that everyone else says (including other Black folk and fellow Canadians). Doesn't matter if anyone thinks that's a valid argument - it doesn't change the possibility of someone else being an asshole in an incident.

The solution is to build mini-adventures that run concurrently with the game, i.e. mid-game mega side quests as DLC.

I stopped playing when they took away the battle royale in S2 — after I realized that my battle pass progress wasn’t working at all. Why play a buggy, never-finished game that gets parts of it REMOVED every now and then?

Yeah, but I don’t want to buy Year 7 seasons if they have nothing to do with The Final Shape — which they won’t, bc TFS wraps up all major arcs leading up to it.

FF6 is often cited as the favorite of classic FF games and has a few of the most iconic (overused word) scenes ever.

FF8's story beats were quite possibly better (more impactful and epic) than 7's. Plot details and narrative structure, really, not necessarily characterization or considering the specific events in a vacuum.
