I didn’t like that infamous rant. Sounded too close to throwing her own colleagues under the bus, at points (her co anchors sitting next to her looked perceivably anxious), and I highly doubted Sessler fully backed her.

And plenty more do worse or just disappear!

X-play is/was quality writing, but that doesn’t really translate 1:1 to video format. They’ve been hit-or-miss since the OG days, really, but I suppose that could be said about anything.

Pseudocode is a technique for writing algorithm skeletons (the "gist" of them), not necessarily a simplified version of any specific language.

Gotten it

I never finished Awakening, myself. Borrowed it for like 3.5 years and all

I don't think running around the city qualifies as very RPG-like, automatically, tbf. The thing with RPGs that video game design can't or won't acknowledge is agency - if a player wants to dillydally in a city, cool, if not they can go elsewhere.

You don’t need to use “got" or "gotten” at all

Yes.. action-RPGs...

I have reservations about writers jumping styles and industries since it doesn't pan out for me — Mitch Dyer formerly from IGN thinks otherwise and the jury's still out on Alannah Pearce -- but I'll try an open mind. Not playing most games for writing (dialogue) quality anyway, but hopefully the characters entertain

Thanks for the... Content? Wording sounds strange, sorry.

RIP mate, you were a staple voice here in this community.

What exactly has aged

Check your facts, please.

There has to be SOME incentive for early adoption, beyond the silly attitudinal aspect of “the pride of first dibs."

I wouldn’t buy on Day 1 or Day 14 either, let alone Day -1 or before, but that's regardless of whether there's reception to it or not.

Your editors are slipping up too often in this business. Carano’s fallout was the February before last, not last February.

No, some hardships are inevitable. They’re fixable, too, but one cannot always stop them from happening. One shouldn’t always stop struggles from happening.
