Um, no. lol. About 6 months from now places the timeframe squarely in the smack dab of Spring.

So what?

Halo 5 PC isn’t really a full game; just Forge with the possibility of downloading user made custom maps (which individually aren’t large, just reconfigurations of raw, already-downloaded assets) for multiplayer that is hardly played compared to Xbox’s community.

Strikes auto-matchmake.

This isn’t news, per se, but commonplace knowledge by now. And other companies won’t read this — just FYI.

SSD won’t help the size, just install and load times, the latter of which has less to do with a game’s install size.

Xbox One X makes all these games worse, if they’re enhanced in any way. 4K texture packs are monstrous. IMO, they’re justified, though, as even without using any supersampling (greater rendering resolution to lower display resolution), the textures look cleaner on 1080p... Or maybe that’s what some of these games’

Halo 5 isn’t on PC?

No, ONE year of “exclusivity” is insane.

Thank god it’s on GWG, as I didn’t get to finish Hitman when it was on GP.

We need more spotlight on Amazon, like what you said here. No company — Valve, Tencent, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Apple, Sony, etc. — should ever acquire too much power and/or market share.

It’s shady, yes, but the launcher isn’t horrible. Throw the hyperbole out.

Uh, no, and to the guy below as well: There has been plenty of attention on the bad side of this. There’s NEVER enough attention on the not-worthwhile aspects of the anti-EGS arguments. That’s why it seems like Kotaku leans heavier on chastising us. We will ALWAYS need that check and balance, regardless if the

Epic Games Store could suck my soul out and I still wouldn't give a hoot 'n nanny about Steam. F them all, or like them all. There's no middle ground.

You're my new best friend!

Yours wasn’t the only one to take notice of failings.

While I am not one to condone pouring over hearsay and leaks as legit discussion, I think we’re all forgetting that the Vex travel through time as easy as moving from points A to B.

Yes, variety would be nice. Succumbing to metas seems baffling to me, even if they’re relegated to pro games. But complaining about them is not warranted unless you play against metas, or with them, or whatever. When it comes to watching, and venerating (or denigrating) the actions of others: take what you can get.

I tested for a AAA studio last year. Cell phone policy wasn’t strict but any policy they had was to enforce or fool-proof ways to break NDAs regarding alpha and beta versions of their games. They care more about content leaks.

By now I think people might understand that I don’t readily side with the crowd.
