We bought our K45 in 1975 and it kept going strong till last year, when the motor started hiccupping. I’m sure it could have been fixed, but we decided to go for a new one anyway because the bowl shape has apparently changed slightly over the years and the new paddle we bought for the old mixer didn’t quite fit.
