Little known fact: Manny Bothans was the real original leader of the Rebellion, the only reason Mon Mothma took over was because Manny got killed getting the Death Star plans :(
Absolutely...I don’t feel like I wasted my time watching it but only barely.
I went into Dark Tower with the expectation that it would be trash and oh man it was, but Elba did a hell of a job as Roland and he did the reloading trick, so I was actually happier than I thought I’d be at the end.
“Please sir, c’n I have some minotaur?”
+1 Lao Che
I can see how you could make that argument. I guess to me, Kendall’s one innate talent is bluster. He’s empty inside—devoid of the things that made Logan an effective leader—but he’s mastered the empty rhetorical performance and rising to that moment. (At least he is when he’s not cycling. I think the series has made…
Me 20 years ago: “If Disney would stop lobbying for longer and longer copyright protections, we could finally have some interesting art made from works entering the public domain!”
Me now: “Oh.”
Tsume76 got it covered but just in case: Nope. It’s still going. Season 3 in August.
Nah, she didn’t call Nate because she still wanted her deal with Matsson and to have the dems win. She makes the same amount of strides and missteps as Kendall and Roman, it just seems the characters in the show and the audience hold her to a different standard because she’s a gal.
Yeah, the only different between this and what he says on air is that in the text he manages to dredge up the tiniest iota of shame.
everyone here seems to be missing your point entirely.
Honestly this is why I wonder if Gunn is right for mainstream DC. It seems like his skill with adapting comic characters is basically to take the very basics of the comic character and then just do his own thing. It works great for more obscure characters like the Guardians, most of the Suicide Squad or Peace…
Edited here, because Kinja sucks:
Well, apparently he was warned, as it says in the article (dummy that I am, didn’t go back to check). I’ll stand by the general idea that people sometimes do go to HR before anything else (which also may be the correct course of action when the person you’re dealing with is your boss),…
Crossing my fingers for John Krasinksi!
For my ally is the fan service. And a powerful ally it is. Luminous fan service are we; not these crude comments.
With the whiff of a filler set piece, this subplot had all of Richmond’s players remembering that the best way to spend a curfew-free night in Amsterdam is to not go see tulips, not eat Dutch food, not attend a private party, and definitely not bear witness to a sex show and instead to have a pillow fight(?).
Have you tried looking at it through the lens of a head injury?
Funny you mention Evil. Katja Herbers is in 5 episodes of Mrs Davis, according to IMDB
VERY good point about Mandos working best when contrasted against non-Mando characters. We’ve now got too many scenes of increasingly muddled factions of the same self-serious warrior types debating whether to retake a home world the audience knows little to nothing about, and has no reason to root for the characters…
