I assume you already know this, but Superman having unconscious super-hypnosis, enhanced by his glasses (which were made from the windshield of his spaceship) was an actual explanation they tried to use in the silver age. Through super-hypnosis, everyone saw Clark Kent as a fat balding guy.

Agreed. Glasses and domino masks either need to work or not work. Having some people have the (realistic) ability to see through them just makes everyone else seem improbably foolish.

Michael has confirmed that the point system is “real” since teaming up with the humans, though. I guess he could still be lying, but there doesn’t seem to be a reason for him to do so.

My favorite is Diggle not suing arrows.

“I can’t be Green Arrow anymore because I have a kid. You have to do it, Diggle.”

21 minutes? Jesus, not all of us can be Sting.

I thought Jesse Quick had gone to Earth-Jay-Garrick to take his place? I guess she returned to Earth-2 once Garrick came back?

I don’t know if that’s a fair criticism of Zack. Discovery is actively inviting comparison to previous Star Treks, particularly given that it’s a prequel.

It seems like bringing back not only the Krill bible, but an intact Krill warship, should make Mercer a gigantic hero in the Union. I mean, they had never even captured a shuttle before.

I thought Janet was dubbed “Busty Alexa,” not “Sexy Alexa.”

Well, there’s thousands and thousands of people dying every day that you can’t save.

To me, the real question about your self-driving vehicle is will it be programmed to kill YOU (the “driver”) to save 5 people?

Adding a kid to a TV show ruins everything. Just like real life!

Yeah, but just because I know something is coming at me at light speed doesn’t mean I can get out of the way.

Also that Kirk stole a cloaking device, but the Federation was apparently too dumb to reverse engineer the tech.

Barry should be able to go even faster than even faster if Iris suggests that he run faster.

They don’t really need to be that fast, as long as they get out of Barry’s line of sight. The show has repeatedly demonstrated that Barry loses sight of a villain, they’re gone. Never mind that he should be able to search a 10-block radius in about 30 seconds.

That is also why I came here.

Yeah, and you also can’t stop a volcano from erupting by dropping a big rock on it. Comic book physics.

It didn’t help much. Most of the reviews weren’t ever filed under their appropriate tabs anyway.
