Even accepting that everyone in the 23rd century is an atheist (which, as I point out elsewhere, is directly contradicted by the TOS on numerous occasions), that doesn't mean that it would drop out of the vocabulary as an exclamation. I mean, I'm as atheist as they come, and I still say "god!" and "goddamnit!"

Yeah - it goes along with his ruthless efficiency. The bomber would kill 100s if he got away, so if 3 or 4 bystanders die while he's chasing him, that's unfortunate, but the math still works out to be a net positive.

The same way he knew exactly where the fleet was and what boat she was on, I guess.

ROM lasted years longer than the action figure.
