To be fair to PuigWho, Beltre’s promise was largely unrealized here in LA aside from his monster 2004. He didn’t become a consistently good hitter until a few years into his time with Seattle. I’ve always been a fan of his but his time in LA always felt somehow disappointing given his great potential.
