Proper ignition and a “2 step” and you don’t really hurt the engine. They don’t hold it at redline and the engine basically fires every other cylinder at a set RPM. They do this to put a load on the engine so it will actually make boost.

The car probably has a stock converter in it. With no transbrake and no converter it would be impossible to spool the turbos on foot brake alone.

Yes they are measured in inches. They look like they are at least 14" wide, probably at 28" or 29" tall. So yeah almost exactly a 355. I’ve seen 33x16.5's under a S-10 Blazer though.
